Important notices
The vehicle is handed over clean with a full tank.
The vehicle must be returned with a full tank and clean.
Minimum rental length is 2 days.
Waiting time is charged 10 €/hour without VAT. Waiting up to 1 hour is accepted.
Client is obliged to notify the tenant of the intention to extend an active rental at least 24 hours in advance.
Airport POPRAD:
If you arrive by flight, you can claim all fees that weren't caused by your fault with the airline.
RESTRICTIONS:
When renting a car, it is the client's responsibility to inform us of the destination and all countries to be visited.
Important
Leaving the EU with the rental vehicle is prohibited.
Forbiden countries:
Romania, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Macedonia and destinations where it is possible to pass through a restricted country.
Rental conditions
Physical persons
- submission of personal documents - ID card (or passport), driver's license - minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 years
- the driver must hold a driver's license at least 1 year
- advance payment - in the form of a credit card, payment in advance to the AUTOKLUB account
Legal entities
- submission of excerpt from the Slovak business register, submission of personal documents - personal ID card, driver's license
- for employees - power of attorney from the managing director if the person picking up the vehicle does not appear in the statement as a company manager
- advance payment: in the form of a credit card (company card), payment in advance to the AUTOKLUB account
FAQ
After completing the form, a non-binding quotation is sent.
You need to reserve the vehicle you want. Fill out and submit the order form and we will send you a non-binding price quotation. During the season, vehicles can be reserved several months in advance. If the chosen vehicle is not available, we will offer you an alternative. The decision will then be up to you.
Payment of the rental is made upon vehicle pickup by card or in cash If you wish to pay the rent by wire transfer, to be able to verify your payment, it must be done so that the funds are credited to our account at the latest the day before.
For each vehicle a deposit must be paid at the beginning of the rental. It can happen in two ways - by the pre-authorization on Renter's credit card, in which case the funds will be blocked for the duration of the rental (valid for a rental period of up to 10 days). For rentals over the stated period, a deposit must be made by payment from your card. The deposit will be released in full after returning of the vehicle without new damage.
AUTOKLUB, a.s. is a registered VAT payer. All prices on the page are without VAT. Extra charges may apply for non-working time or a in case of a requested car delivery. Otherwise, all fees will be listed in a supplied price quotation.
After a mutual confirmation by both parties, we will meet the client at the agreed place, inspect the vehicle and write and sign a contract where we will state any damage. After the payment for the rental is completed, the client can leave with the vehicle.
If you return the vehicle in good condition and without a new damage, we will immediately release the deposit blocked on your card. Releasement of funds depends on your bank card's issuer. Usually it takes 1-3 days.
In the quotation we will confirm the availability of the chosen vehicle. After the advance payment is received, the vehicle is reserved for you. In case of a vehicle damage (e.g. when another client would damage the vehicle before being rented to you), you will be offered another vehicle, usually of the same or a higher class for the same price as was in the originally confirmed order.
You can travel without restrictions to the European Union countries, with the exception of Bulgaria and Romania. It is forbidden to use our vehicles in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia and Turkey. Included motorway vignette is valid only in Slovakia. All other vignettes outside of Slovakia have to be purchased by you.
You will return the vehicle at a pre-agreed date and time. Change of the specified time is possible after agreement with us. If you wish to return the vehicle late in the evening or during non-working hours (including weekends + national holidays), a surcharge for non-working hours is applied.
In the case of an accident, it is necessary to contact us via hotline and also to inform the police.
Rent extension is possible after our approval and your payment for extended rental days. There is no need to issue a new contract.
We also offer long-term rental for companies and individuals under special conditions.
